While we may remove your video from our platform, we accept no responsibility for copies that have been downloaded or used outside of our domain, beyond our control. For this reason, we issue the following waiver. By submitting your video, you agree to the waiver stated below.
Waiver: I understand that the video I share will be used by the Veronica Blount Memorial Foundation (VBMF) to promote the Foundation and / or to be used in the submission of a grant or award. VBMF is the sole and exclusive owner of all rights, title, and interest in any materials and media I share. I grant VBMF a perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable and royalty-free right to copy, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, create derivative works, edit, enhance, publish and use the media I have provided in any medium and in any manner throughout the world, for any purpose. If it is ever determined that I own any rights in the materials, contrary to what I have represented herein, I hereby irrevocably assign, transfer and otherwise convey to VBMF all rights, title, and interest in the materials.
I will not sue, dispute, challenge, or institute proceedings against VBMF for using my Likeness and I hereby waive all legal and equitable rights I may have as well as all claims, damages and expenses arising directly or indirectly from the same. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold VBMF harmless from any and all actions, damages and liabilities (including attorneys’ fees and costs) that may arise by or in connection with a breach of my representation herein. I voluntarily accept this agreement, understanding that it is binding, and shall benefit, VBMF, me and our respective (as applicable) heirs, devisees, legatees, representatives, guardians, conservators, administrators, successors, assigns, agents, transferees and estates.
