The Veronica Blount Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease, the number one killer globally. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the foundation aims to empower individuals to take charge of their heart health and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Veronica Blount, a young mother of three, died at age 46 from heart disease. Veronica's daughter, Tee Blount founded both the Red Shoe Lunch and the Veronica Blount Memorial Foundation. The Red Shoe Lunch, our flagship fundraising event began in 2011 and takes place the last Saturday of February each year. We have ten programs that help us execute our mission.
